The latest post on the Higher Ed Ombuds Blog is titled, "Confessions of a Conflict Avoider." She admits that it's sometimes hard to follow the kind of advice she regularly gives to her visitors. Given the frequent contact Ombuds have with conflict, perhaps this isn't surprising.
